Music in the Mountains

This meeting will be pretty informal. The Riverstone space is not officially booked for us. We will be gathering where we can find room. We prefer the backroom booths if any is available.

We will focus on MiM for the next while. Our next meeting is tentatively set for Thursday June 22, 2017 @ 6:45 at the Riverstone Pub (meet in the front room if possible). Please double check here for confirmed date early in June. Names that have agreed to step forward so far are Anne M, Heather W, Travis C, Sherry L, MAatthew D, Max C, Steve L. (and we are hoping some of the others who traditionally help will come as well as anyone else who is looking to get involved). THIS IS AN OPEN INVITE TO HELP.

The start of a new chapter

Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.
-Bob Dylan

Golden Tipi

A group of alumni has been working over the years to create a "historical" collection of CCH related materials and stories. We are excited to share their work with you. We will be working to integrated the CCH Almuni Society with the Golden Tipi and will be working out a process to allow easy access between these two sites over the coming months. In the meantime check out the site by clicking on the button (lower) and signing up with this group.

CCH Golden Tipi is a meeting place for former staff of Camp Chief Hector. It seeks to keep alive the memories of camp days, preserve and renew friendships made at camp, act as a rendezvous point for staff wishing to contact others, and to collect, publish and celebrate recollections, photos, and life stories.

This website is created and staffed by volunteers who were connected to Hector in the past. It is neither funded by nor formally associated with the Calgary YMCA.
